My name is Patrick, I’m a Neuroscientist. I’m an active researcher focused mostly on the molecular aspects of neuroscience. But since the nervous system is connected to every part of the body it pays to know something about everything. I’ve been a neuroscientist for over a decade now and I still learn something new about how humans work everyday.

But experimenting and collecting information can’t be the end point. If I were to just collect and store information, then I’m no different from a collector of rare books. It’s impressive, but useless to anyone but me. Which is why I created this site. VeryEvolved.com is really about you.

By understanding the way our body and brain works we can come up with some practical ways apply the science I’ve learnt, in a way that helps you in day-to-day life. We’re covering big things here – like the Science of happiness, How your behavior can be influenced by those around you, and why bad habits can be so hard to break.

This site is the missing manual on how your body works and a practical guide to use this knowledge to building a better human.
